LED Conversion / 2016 Streetglide Special
I am looking to convert the 7" headlight and 4.5" auxiliary lights to LED. There are so many choices out there, Sunpie, Eagle Lights, etc. etc., and the FuelMoto bulbs. Some need adapter rings, a conversion harness, and many are not for the later touring models. I have read about radio problems which I want to avoid. Can anyone suggest or shed some light (no pun) on what you may think is the best product to go with (besides the costly HD LED's).
Thanks!

I have the Sunpie headlight and love it. For $70, it's the best money I've put into the bike. So bright and the light shines for miles down the road! A lot of the cheapo LEDs cause antenna interference but not the Sunpie. You'll also need the adapter cable for the headlight. I'd recommend the Sunpie. Your complete setup would be $130, and if you have Amazon Prime, it'll be at your door Monday for free.

I put on a $50 dollar Mictuning one with the harness and it is so far a great light. way brighter than my halogen one and I got it for dirt cheap. It has been on a couple of weeks so far and I haven't had any radio issues, or any other issues so far. It looks good and the price was right. Even if it were to break every year I would have to go 10 years before it would come to the same price as the HD one. just saying.

I know you are concerned with money, but if you can find a way to afford them, there is nothing better (IMHO) nor brighter than the Custom Dynamics TruBeam (headlight & auxillary). Phenomenal performance.
For me, it was all about safety, anything I can do to increase my exposure. All my lights are CD and LED (front & rear).
I bought my set off of Ebay, saved about $150.00 over retail. The products were shipped directly from CD to my house. Installation is extremely easy.
Good luck.

OK on EBAY you can get all 3 lights for around $100 delivered to your door if you can stand the Sunpie name.lol My understanding is that since you have a 1 SG that you need no extra harness although the kit I bought had a couple of different option thrown . Neither would work on my RK though. On the SG if you follow th wiring back apperntly there is a connector that will work for this.
I hope this helps.
