Default Kury 9670 brake pedal

Is anybody running the Kury 9670 extended brake pedal on a bike with fairing lowers? I know the Kury website says to use the 9672 with fairing lowers, and I also know some guys on here have sung the praises of the 9672. Kury says the 9672 is just shaped differently, not extended. I thought I had seen posts where someone used the 9670 on a UC or UL and said it was fine, but I can't find them. Since I got the CVO I feel like I would really like to get the brake pedal moved forward a little.

I have the 9672 - don't believe the 8670 will work with the lowers.

Just as an FYI, the 9672 is moved forward a little. It does so by changing the angle. Imagine this.

Get a ruler - hold it against the desk at say 45 deg. Now, just change the angle to 33 deg. - see, it moved forward (same length but forward)

OK, that makes sense...Not sure why but it feels a lot more crowded than the UL did, gotta do something.

Thanks for the heads up!

You will find a big difference once you put it on. I went to the 14 from an 11. One of the first things I noticed was - I had to lift my foot to hit the brakes.

Now, with the 9672, I simply pivot my foot and I am on the brake.

I would look at alternatives, like Softbrake before I would put a Kury product on for something other than a decorative item...

JMC22 - Sofbrake is indeed an option - however, I am not sure I understand your post - something other than a decorative item?

I you try to install the one for bikes without a lowers on one with lowers it will not fit.
Ask me how I know after being sent the wrong part.
The Kury is just fine it is just a brake pedal. but if you like there is another one out there that will charge you double to put a different name on it.

I have the 9672 and it works great. I have had good luck with Kury products.
