Just got my bike back from having 12" KST bars installed along with Sony Double Din and Hertz fairing speakers installed. Much louder than stock and I think Android Auto will be nice upgrade. I also have the Harley 6.5GT head unit that I will be putting up for sale if anyone is interested.

Is that radio "marine" type to resist moisture? Which dash kit and wiring adapter was used? Thanks.

 

I'm interested in this as well. What level of weather resistance does this radio have? Did it come with any type of cover?

 

The shop I had do install used a scosche dash kit and wiring harness to be able to use hand controls. As far as radio, its called weather resistant and there is a video with the radio playing for 9 minutes while being sprayed with hose. There also is a place making covers for both road glide and street glide that will cover the radio for extra protection. I just haven't got mine ordered. The shop that did my install sells a complete kit with radio and everything for install if interested.
