I guess I didn't read into the question. I assumed you had a stock bike and only mod was decat pipe and just by changing the head pipe would see gains. So even with the mods you have, just changing the head pipe would not be much gains but would look cool.

Thanks Magnut1

Someone else said about the same thing. Just thought I would see what others would say.

I asked V&H tech the question:

Mark M. That exhaust will require a tuner for the bike to tun properly
Mark M. Also with the proper mapping you will get a increase in Horsepower/Torque

Tracy Methena Hi Mark. I know you need a tune and intake. This guy is trying to say there would be a 7-10 HP gain from stock minus cat, to power duals. I told them without more air and fuel, results would be negligable.

Tracy Methena If they have stock headpipe without the cat, and spend $600 for the power dual headpipe, will they see much of a gain? How much?

Mark M. Right that is true. To see those numbers you do need a tuner and high air flow intake. I would say about 5-6 Horse and 4-5 Torque. 9-10 gain would be are Pro pipe

Unless I see a dyno report from someone with the exact situation as the OP, I won't believe what you are saying. Taking off a de-catted headpipe and install power duals and run the dyno, no map, no intake, just the headpipes. This is what the OP's question was.
I agree with you if there was no tuner in the equation. I did say "with a tuner". Putting a header on without a tuner is completely pointless and will make the bike run even leaner than stock. I believe we're on the same page.

I must add something that I thought was interesting. My friend has a 17 RG with the stock head pipe that has the cat removed. Called fuel Moto for a map for his set up and the map they sent him was the same map they use for there 2-1-2 headers. That pretty much tells me that the stock head pipe decatted flows the same as there $500 header. He auto tuned it once and the thing runs really really good and sounds top notch. With all this said what does an after market header get you other than a $500 lighter wallet.

Source for those numbers please with before and after chart. No way you get that much of an increase in torque with a 2:1:2. I doubt you will see that with a 2:1. The numbers you have quoted would be along the lines of a cam change.
