I have had a back rest on my last 2 bikes and it doesn't help with the butt at all.

Well, I ended up ordering the mustang super tour. I hope it does the trick. It has a receiver for my mustang riders backrest.

Hoping for the best

That's one I forgot to add to the list that I tried. The seat was Good, but I felt like it made the bike really top heavy on slow speed maneuvers since it raised me up so high.

Hammock seat from Harley Davidson is the most comfortable seat ever, and I'm sooo glad my 17 M8 CVO Limited came with and it's also heated, you should demo it from your local dealer it doesn't look good without the tourpack if that's what more important then comfort.

I have had this same dilemma, tried several different seats with no luck. Sent stock seat to MCC, very disappointed!! Tried an airhawk seat cushion this weekend, hurt me worse than not having it. I rode about 400 miles Saturday and started thinking about what a friend of mines wife told me, she said her yoga instructor told her not to sit on her her tailbone. So I leaned forward slightly and let my wrists rest on my grips, my tailbone pain almost instantly went away. When Got home I adjusted my bars (12" mini apes) so that I have to reach for them a little bit. Didn't get to ride but just a short trip yesterday, but I think it is going to help. Just some food for thought

if you ride solo it's hard to beat the police seat, especially with Utopia backrest. You can also add the mustang passenger pillion for when you have another rider.
