Never heard of so many complaints about sore butts..I have used the stock seat for 30k never had a problem..going to Key West next week 360 miles..stop for gas in Florida City and some food then down to KW..6hrs ...knees get stiff but that's it

Alaska Leather sheepskin covers. One of the best investments we've made for our bikes. Rode to Sturgis on stock seats very comfortably.

I use Canari padded bicycle shorts. I used to ride mountain bikes. Decided to try them out on an iron butt run. I won't leave home without them in a long run. Them and my Hammock seat. If I didn't need to stop for gas. I wouldn't need to stop.

Currently using a HD 52000248 solo, which has a vinyl cover.. Little or no improvement for me from the stock SGS seat. (would a leather cover be better for comfort?)
Thoughts on Sheep Skin pads for longer rides. Seems like something that will breath a little might be better than HD vinyl? If you use some type of Pad, or Skin please share your findings.
Thanks!
https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...large-seat-pad I bought one when they first came out in 2010. It's been on 2 bikes. I also have a few pair of Duluth underwear
http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/m...cessor=content. These work great & the price is right. FYI, stay away from Under Armour. That's all I ever used but the quality/fit has been going downhill for a few years. Duluth has fast shipping & outstanding customer service.

Breathable undies help, I try to buy any with no seams where you contact the seat, same with pants, heavy pocket seams ect suck, you might try the Harley seat pad, I know some that have them ,and swear by them, leather seats may help some, vinyl seats don't breathe at all

Bought one of these 2 years ago on the recommendation of a friend, makes a world of difference. I have done many 300 mile days with no discomfort and air circulation helps keep the boys cool...
