Question is can I just run them on a stock CVO and not add a Tuner and will it lose bottom
end if I do?

I doubt much at all will change if just the V&H Slip On's are added. I doubt a Tuner would be needed either, but I would do a FP3 anyways.

I prepped my "Quiet Baffles" with Acetone, scuffed them up with a green Scotch Pad, and painted them with Hi Temp Header paint before I put them in.

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply. I'm on the fence about a tuner do to the noted lifter issue with the 110's. And this truly is my retirement bike so warranty is a concern.

You can and won't need a tuner if you run those although a tuner will make it run much better. The HO's are really designed for bigger inch motors as the CVO's are anyway so you won't loose low end.

You are correct the bike runs awesome. I went with HD Street Performance Download. Bike runs better than my last bike with Fp3. The mufflers really
have a good low rumble. And my warranty stays in tact. Thanks for the input.

Been off the forum for a while. My 03 Heritage burned up in the Gatlinburg Wildfire in which I miss. But, I have landed a nice low mileage 014 Road King just recently which I plan to enjoy.

I've got the V&H Power Duals, and the 450 High outputs, Stage 1 air cleaner and FP3 to go on my bike. I'm on the fence about changing to the quiet baffles before I even install them. But at 200 bucks on top of what the system already costs, it's a bit hard to justify.

How about a few of you chime in that maybe have quiet baffles and you that don't. Was it worth the extra $200? Is it that much quieter? Would you change them out again if you had it to do over?

My Heritage had the V&H Longshots with baffles which seemed about right. Will my King with the Power Duals and the Hi Output 450's be quieter or louder then that? Thanks a bunch and I will get some pics up when I get it together.

When I bought mine they were $29.95 each, so $60 for the pair.
Now I see they are $49.95 each, so $100.00 for the pair.

Thanks for the reply. Here is the deal. I bought these V&H mufflers, 16555 Dresser Destroyer OS 450 chrome w/ black tip.

I bought the 21905 quiet baffles which were in your amazon link
Amazon Amazon

Here is the page from V&H which shows the 16555 mufflers that I got and also the matching 21844 quiet baffle http://os450.vanceandhines.com/#titan

Here they are on amazon for $99 each
Amazon Amazon

So, from what I see the 21844 at $99 each looks to be the ones that fit. Am I wrong?? Thank You

Yes, your correct, but we do NOT have the same V&H Slip On's.
I have the 16455 Hi Output V&H Slip On's.

You are correct. I've just now figured that out. Now I'm on the fence about whether to keep the Oversized 450's or swap them back in for the Hi Output Slipons.

I have the Hi Output 103 on my 014 Road King. Which way would you guys go?
Pros and Cons of each?? etc... Thanks
