Default Bought a J&S Jack

OK, I've been reading all the hype about J&S on this forum for years, so I bought one. Seems you all were right.

It replaced an 8 year old red sears jack that the pivot points started to get a bit too much play in.

I ordered it on 25 May and it arrived on 1 June. I was told 1-1 1/2 weeks before it would ship. Huh, 1 week from order to delivery. I ordered their kit with the handle and drain pan (more of a funnel than a pan).

Tested it out with my wife's Ultra (just in case). Damn it takes a lot of pumps to full height. Maybe I should have got the air version. Nah, I'm not that lazy.

The bike is rock solid on the jack. I'm impressed.

Okay, the videos show them spinning and rolling it around with an Ultra on it. Let's try it. Wow, this rolls easy. Let's stop before I hit my bike. Yeah, I got a little close.

So I rolled it out of the garage, across an expansion joint and out onto the driveway. Smooth! I felt the expansion joint, but the jack didn't flex and the bike didn't rock.

Keep in mind that I couldn't\wouldn't roll the red jack around. A little too wobbly for me.

Once people actually use this product, they see what all the hype is about. No straps needed, rock solid design. On the spendy end of pricing, but so was my bike.
At the last MC show in Minneapolis, the guy manning the J&S booth was sitting out on the front fender of the Electra Glide that was up on the lift, just like the video on the J&S website.

Yes it is. I removed my Road King engine last night on my J&S. I also have a Pit Bull which I like, but if I could only have one, it'd be the J&S.

The jack on mine just failed at 18 months waiting to hear from them. It should be covered under warranty. It is leaking at the release value. But I am very happy with the jack. Just hoping it is covered for the price.
