This!!!

Keeping the sun off your skin is key.
I have an older hd mesh with armor in the shoulders and elbows, feels cooler to me than sun baked skin plus no sticky arms from sunscreen.

I wear an armored mesh jacket over a white long sleeve t shirt, jeans and boots. Sometimes a water soaked cooling towel around my neck. Drink lots of water and squirt myself with water occasionally when it's real hot, over 100.

Hyderation vest soaked in ice water under mesh jacket ,skull cap and all purpose gloves soaked in ice water for over 100 degrees days works very well, first 20 miles it gives you the chill then another 30 miles very comfortable then some comfort by then it's time to stop and start all over again. I carry an ice box on the back seat with coconut water and some water all summer long regardless locally or long distance rides.

While I respect riding with gear (i.e. ALWAYS boots, gloves, DOT helmet) my summer uniform has always been tee and leather vest. Now this is my first Harley. Are you guys telling me the heat is going to be so oppressive I will have to wear my Joe Rocket mesh? Just asking.

Has this forum digressed to the point of discussing fashion?

There is a company in which I have no affiliation (other than a customer) called Coolibar. All they make are clothes that shield you from the sun.....I wear long sleeve golf shirts that are SPF 50. They are kind of pricey, but I figured my skin is worth it.
