If anyone loads this and uses the Sena Freewire please let us know if it changed the sidetone/echo affect. It might be a few days before I can get this installed in my bike to see what it does with the sidetone issue.

Talked to the HK rep at the H-D booth on Sunday. His immediate response was "that's Sena's problem." After further discussion he now understands there are three types of customers; those wanting side tone using wired headsets, those wanting their Sena Freewire connections to work (w/o sidetone) & those that don't care. He knows a menu option to turn sidetone on/off will satisfy more customers. Hopefully the fix will be coming...

Didn't notice any new issues on my ride to work this morning. As reported in an earlier post, the Reading USB thing is still happening. Would be nice if they'd fix that, but it's not all that big of a deal.

No oil pressure check with the radio off, then i am not interested in the update. I guess they think if you wanted a bike with the boom you'll always want it on. And you don't need to check the oil pressure that quickly, wait til the boom boots, and check it, the engine couldn't possibly seize during the boom boot.

I am just a product of my experience, when you start an aircraft, be it jet, turbine or recip, engine temps in limits and you immediately check for oil pressure.

I know my bike isn't an aircraft, but i do the same with every vehicle i have, solve the problem, just give me or in this case i'll just have to get an oil pressure gauge.

And to think they already had the oil pressure, temp thing in several previous updates and abandoned it

Sticking with 120.3, works well.

Designers must be non combatants.

Hopefully they drop a new audio system on the 2018s and offer the option of retrofitting it to older bikes. Even if they charged $1k, people would buy it if it's a good upgrade.

Interesting comment by the Harley rep. I learned yesterday that some Sena techs spent a few days at HD in the last month or so. I think the HD reps are being told to respond as they did with you but behind closed doors they are working on the issue. When I last checked Sena's website, they no longer had the Sena 20s Harley Clamp kits in stock. Makes me wonder if they are either going to change them or discontinue them and focus on getting the Freewire situation straightened out. With their introduction of the new 30k headset in a few weeks, you would think clean Freewire integration would be important.
