Brewmany - reference the reading USB.
I use to get that. Here is what I did. Make sure you have a backup of the music on the USB drive. Or, better still, put a like USP flash drive in your PC - completely format it.
Then, copy the music from the old flash drive to the new one. My bet is, you will no longer get Reading USB

OK, Downloaded and Saved the CVO Version of 1.21.2.1 to my PC.
Extracted and renamed <swdl_boombox_6.5GT_CVO.1.21.2.1> as <swdl_boombox_6.5GT.1.21.2.1> to my 8GB Flash Drive that I have just for this purpose. FWIW I run the CVO version on my bike.
Someday . . . . if/when I get really bored . . . . I guess I'll update the bike . . . . again . . . . doesn't seem like there's much that is actually "fixed" in this version. At least nothing that I've noticed.

Sammer4u - thanks. Curious, what size flash drive are you using? I currently run a 16GB drive with tons of songs.
When I decided to run this one, I did try several others. I noted that 2 smaller drive seems to load much faster. Also noticed that when I tried to go with larger that 16 - the thing took forever to boot.
So, if you are running 16 or less, I still suggest your do a "full"- not quick format of your flash drive. I've done that several times for others - and, at least for me, it seems to work.
Good luck

Reading through this thread for the first time I'm mostly seeing what hasn't been broken by the update ("no problems"), not was has been fixed or improved. I guess that's where we are with these software updates now, too bad, I was actually hoping for a software update that MIGHT improve something...
