What Am I Looking For?
I bought my RGU new a year ago, April 2016. I got the bike home and went through the stuff that was loaded into the tour pack. That was the operator manual, saddle bag inserts and I think the headphone set.
I thought the headphone set was for intercom between the rider and passenger and for CB operation. I didn't know you could listen to the FM radio or the other stuff you could play through the infotainment center.
Anyway, I don't do CB and will never have a passenger. I'm not sure if I just threw the headset away or put it away somewhere, not intending to ever use it.
Recently, I was riding with a friend who had a 2016 RGU and he had the headset on. I asked him who he was talking to since he didn't have a passenger. He said he was listening to his infotainment center USB music.
Now, I've tearing my house apart trying to find my headset. I don't recall if it was in a box, a plastic bag or just unwrapped.

Buy a new one as they don't cost much. Then within a short time the original one will show up. That way you will have a spare. And who knows a special person may show up that you will ride with and she can use the other one.
That's how I do it. I replace the missing item and it shows up over 90% of the time.

That's fine for you. Since my wife can get ahold of me on the phone while I'm riding, there's less resistance to me being gone riding longer w/o her worrying. Happy wife, more riding in my life.

Actually not. Can't do another relationship. Last one almost took my life when she died.

EasternSP - I see you are from King George; I am originally from Richmond.
Sorry to hear about your lost - hang in there. I will not say I understand however there have been losses and God has given us the strength to get passed it.
About the headset. I too take a few calls on the bike - I can see who is calling and if I deem that important, will take the call. In my opinion, my bike calls are easier than my truck calls -and I have hands fee on the truck too.
So, where is it - you've looked in the garage. What about he basement or where you may be storing other bike parts? It's there - just some place you have not looked.
