Illegal lights

Some states see the flashing red tail light as a violation also. I had a conversation with a Chicago LEO about mine few back. He read the law to me word for work. While it did not say tail lights or stop light it clearly out law-ed any flashing red light. Of course he said that it would be a cold day in hell before he had time to mess with stuff like that.
I have the CD front turn signals and I am keeping them. If I get a ticket I wil put one heck of a fight on in court and use most current autos as an example.
Yes I have 4 white lights to the front. Third bike I have has setup like this.

Where I live anyway if you are on the road after about 10pm on a bike you are first assumed to be a possible OVI canidate and they will use any excuse legit or not to get you pulled over for closer inspection. So my point is that while you may not get a ticket it is zero reassurance that you wont get pulled over for it.

Gotta Love South Carolina. Nice simple traffic laws. I have 7 white lights up front on my FLHTK. 1 Headlight, 2 passing lamps, 2 CD Driving lights on the calipers, 2 white signals that turn yellow when on and if ya add the amber fender light actually makes 8. I'm all about visibility. Havent' had any issues here with them
