Default rear tire size ?

can you put a 200/60 16 on the rear factory rim on a 2017 street glide special with stock frame/swingarm

I believe you can, but why would you want to? Serious question... it won't be dramatically wider, and you can hardly see the rear tire on a bagger anyway.

Smile rear tire size

i was told that it might give it a lowered look without really lowering the bike and its a lower profile tire

Sure, it has to be a "lower profile" because it is wider, and the profile is defined by width. BUT, your overall tire height should be unchanged. It won't make the bike itself look lowered because of this.

Your stock rear tire has a 117mm side wall height. Your proposed 200/60 has a side wall height of 120mm. So that means sticking on the 200 will raise the rear of your scoot 3mm.

If you want a wider tire look on the bagger, try a car tire. A 185/60/16 will certainly fit. A 195 would be pretty close to the belt. Either one will look a lot fatter than a 200mm motorcycle tire.
