Default Is the Toll Road 99 on the new Nav update NA-MY2018

I am in the Houston surrounding area and needed to know if 99 is on the new NA-MY2018 update for the Navigation. I don't mind spending the $149 if it is actually current and from what I have read on this forum there may be a reason to believe the maps are from 2016. The Toll Road sections I am interested in weren't finished until 2016 so doubt that they would be on the map from 2016. Garmin just added them recently and I have reason to believe that they are more up to date than the Harley maps.

HD told me that the newest maps will always be two years behind, so probably unlikely.

I would like to know from someone who has the maps and is in Houston. I have been researching and it would appear that the 2018 map is actually post-2016 so they are newer than 2 years.

Not to sound *******-ish, but why are you only interested in specific sections of 99? I mean it's a toll road and it only goes from Sugarland out to New Caney. There's not much of a chance you're going to get lost is there?

I just want an idea of how far the update has gone and since my Garmin just added 99, I want to make sure that if I pay $150 that they have it updated on the Harley maps.

Sounds like a good reason to me and I hope you find out it is added. Absolutely ridiculous for HD to stay this far behind on mapping. But, I guess that horse has been beat to death.

I just wish there was a way to find out what is actually on the map before you plunk down your cash on one.

Can’t you just go to a dealer and mess around on a new ‘18 Touring bike and check??

It would be easier to find out online versus driving to a dealer since I am on the forum anyway. That being said, if I don't have my answer before my next visit that is exactly what I will do.
