Default Has anyone had a HD Cool Flow Fan Installed?

I just bought a 2017 RGU and looking to add on a few things. The HD Cool Flow Fan is on my list. Just wondering if anyone has had one installed and how much was the labor and ECM programing?

I installed one myself on my '17 Tri Glide. I bet the dealership will want between one and two hours for labor. Depending on your dealerships labor rate figure $100 to $200 to install and program. It's a fairly easy install, but enough to warrant 2 hours worth the labor from the dealership. When I installed mine, my local dealer programed the ECU for free. I brought the tech an 18 pack of adult beverages for his time.

Hi from the Windy City. Will these work on a 14 Road King? Does it help with heat from the motor?

I had mine installed at point of purchase with part of the deal in buying the bike. They wanted 2hrs labor. I can’t tell you how much heat it reduces since I haven’t had the bike without it but I can tell you it pulls a lot of air and it is very quiet.

I believe I was charged 1.5 hours of labor for everything.

Just about the best $$$ I've spent on the Ultra.

THE HD site shows that the Coolflow fits 2017 and up only. Suggest you look at either 'Love Jugs' or Wards Fans......threads on both abound as do opinions as to which do the better job. An alternative is a fan driven oil cooler.....or you could use both.

You may want to ride it some before doing the fan. So far wife and I have not found a need for it. Right at 13K on our 2017 RGU.
The fan is meant to pull heat from rider and passenger not the engine. The engine does not get nearly as hot as the non cooled heads did.
