So I bought the tour pak with the option to drill for speaker pods, lower fairing with Speaker pods, and stretched bags.

I contacted the seller previously, to ask if the flame decals would be included. The reply was "of course"

​​​​​​No flame decals, no speaker pod holes, and they initially gave me false tracking info for the tour pak. It was the same tracking number as the stretched bags. That package arrived, and there was no tour pak.

I opened a dispute, which EBay, in their infinite wisdom, closed, because the tracking info shows it as being delivered. The tour pak finally arrived, but it was only painted. Not drilled, no flame decals.

​​​​​​So the top and the bottom are wrong. They said they're going to send me another lid with the flame decals. After over a month of getting the run around, eBay closed my case because the tracking info shows it being delivered...with the wrong tracking number. Fine, why can't I open another case for it being completely wrong? Well, not completely. It is the right color, but the paint looks like orange peel, and for the $2k I spent, I'm really disappointed. To top it off, they suggested I take it to a motorcycle shop to have drilled. Then why have it as an option in the auction?

I'll update if/when they take care of this, but it took a project I was looking forward to, and turned it into an exercise of frustration.

Your experience may differ, if you choose to roll the dice, I hope you get treated better. How's that saying go? The sting of inferior quality lasts much longer than a sweet bargain...or something like that.

 

2K for a non-OEM TP? What else did you get?

Roger, reading is fundamental...lol...how much is an OEM TP? thats alot of coin for AM stuff...Did you pay through paypal? Maybe their protection would work instead of ebay?...Ive done that before with good results...

 

Oem Tour Pack is 700 for a king. 200 for mount 250 for seat

 

You spend more at the dealer, but you get high quality original equipment. I got a black king TP quick detach with passenger back rest, I spent around 1300 bones and now I hardly user it...

 

Boardtracker HD has great prices and it’s all OEM. Can’t see dealing with these off the wall places before checking Boardtracker’s price.

I'd already spent over $10k with Board Tracker, on parts and tools. I'm graduating from MMI next week, so I'm trying to spend more on tools, and less on bike parts. We'll see if they fix this.

 

file a complaint with paypal if that's how you paid..

 

It sounds like a Ebay seller issue not the product. Have you tired calling Advanblack direct?
