Interesting about the release date of 12/11/17.

My bike is tucked away in the trailer - will wait to do the downloads. Thanks to all of you that have done so. We appreciate your input.

So how can you say it went smooth......??? Most people can download it just fine. It’s when they actually ride it all the gremlins and glitches come out

For those who have tried the updates and use GPS routes, does

"Skip Waypoint"

show the actual waypoint name ? or the latitude/longitude ?

Fingers crossed, but not holding my breath.

I rode 180 miles today, did not notice anything abnormal with the Infotainment system.

He said the update install went smoothly. There's already been reports from some they're having issues with the install.

He also explained he didn't ride with the update installed, so he couldn't report on how effective the update performs. His post was quite clear.

So why didn't you understand?

I installed the new update (1.22.0.1) on Sunday before going for a ride. The download and install were straight forward with no issues. I had not loaded the release prior to this one so I was running 1.21.0.4 up until now.

I did not notice anything new with the new update but then I was having no real issues with the version that I had loaded. On my ride after the update I did not go into GPS so can't comment on that. I did use the radio, music from Iphone, received a couple of text messages and made a phone call, no issues with any of that.
This time I did my update from the CVO release into a non CVO bike just to see how it worked, Honestly I can't say that I noticed anything different in the sound quality, the only thing I really noticed different was of course having the CVO graphics come up on the splash screen.

One report on another forum of "Enable Nav Prompts" not staying checked. This is the opposite issue from the last few versions, where the "Nav Prompts" would Re-Enable themselves after being turned off.

Can anyone check this to confirm?

As much as I hated them turning back on, I can't imagine the frustration of having them turn off by themselves. Maybe they'll figure this out someday...
