Default Got Ohlins at Motorcycle Metal yesterday

After reading plenty of shock threads,I decided to go with Ohlins 159.So I called Howard at Motorcycle Metal. We talked about what I wanted and what I needed. So I rode to his shop and he installed them for me.He said since they were my shocks I got to torque them down.I had a 50 mile ride home and could feel a big differnce. He showed how to set the preload for 2up riding, and my GF and I went for a couple of short rides today to adjust the preload using a tie wrap, and its looking pretty good.I think I got lucky to have Howard install them.I would recommend Howard anytime for his product and service.

If you think you noticed a difference, ask your GF how much of a difference she feels. It's one thing to be centered on the suspension; evidently it is quite another thing to be directly over the rear suspension.

Only ONE problem I can think of......I keep dragging the kickstand in turns.

I feel WAY more comfortable leaning since I installed the Ohlins.
