So with the 20S and Pit Boss are you using the zip-in liner and speaker pockets?

Only on the colder months. There is plenty of bulk to the Pit Boss straps and the speaker catches about 80% of it with the Velcro. I just use the thick spacers to keep the speakers tight to my ears.

Maybe the mike length is different on the wireless/clamp headsets.

If you're using the 20S on the Pit Boss...and the bike's speakers for audio...what becomes of the 2 ear speakers which are part of the 20S headset?
The speakers simply unplug from the clamp. My Pit Boss is an XL and my mike makes it just past the corner of my mouth.

I always tuck my mic up into the front of the helmet when I take the helmet off and sometimes forget to reposition it before I hit the road. At lower speeds, it works just fine like that.
I was hoping that was the case.

You may also want to look at speaker pod pockets such as these -

You could also get a universal 20s clamp kit and glue the universal mike a little further fwd between the shell and liner.

Good info here, and thanks for it. My hope is that I can use the 20S headsets in both our helmets (Pit Boss and J-Cruise). We just don't want to use the Pit Boss zip-in liner when riding half-helmet in summer on local rides.

My next project is to install the WHIM, harness, and SiriusXM receiver module...then to the dealer for a flash.

It's -7F here this morning, but I can almost smell spring....lol.

That's going to be nice when done. Hope to have it in by spring.

I have the WHIM, XM, used both 20s and Cardo Packtalk. Everyone is correct, music sounds like an old AM radio if you are using anything other than HD headset via WHIM. It is convenient to be cord free and I just rock out with the upgraded speakers I paid for. I prefer the Cardo unit over 20s. I might upgrade to 30k if/when HD puts it out.
