HELP! Dropped inner cap From Sta-bil in Gas Tank

For the life of me, not sure what all the doomday post think one cap will hurt. I have seen a hand full of crap in there on the bottom.

If it were the actual top cap, would be fine. It being the peel back foil, I would find a way to retrieve. I would think that could find a way to flatten and block something

The inlet to the fuel pump is a flat double sided prefilter screen that has 20 times the surface area of that cap.

my buddy did the same exact thing on his road glide. he kept rocking the bike until the gas sloshed around enough for him to see the cap with a flashlight. then he used one of those flexible claw grabbers to extract it. try it, you might get lucky like he did. good luck

"A" is the correct answer, IMO. However, if you're as OCD-prone as I am, you could take out the fuel pump as suggested in a previous post and find it with a flashlight and fish it out.
