Clutch Adjustment on 2017 RGU
I got to take my first ride today on my new to me 2017 Road Glide Ultra with 2075 miles. Loved the ride, brakes and controls. The clutch doesn't have much of a friction zone. It seems to catch all at once and at the end of the clutch lever travel. Is there an adjustment for the clutch?

Adjustable clutch lever. They allow you to move the engagement point in closer.
Many of us have swapped them out. on a 2017 and newer only one company makes one to fit right now. The master cyl was changed in 2017 so the other ones for Rushmore's will not fit.
This shows the adjustable next to the stock lever. By turning that dial you change engagement point.
The install is quick and easy.

Good reference there Smitty for the Oberon Lever.
I do think, however, that his MAIN real problem is the way the new clutches not only have that friction zone WAY AWAY from the handlebar, but that the friction zone is REAL NARROW. That is the problem for me too. I don't like it but there is nothing that can be done about it.

This may be an expensive solution but I’ve enjoyed it for 2 yrs. it’s the Rekluse Auto-Clutch.
Once installed and adjusted, one’s bike will never stall. You can even start off from a stop in 6th gear without touching the clutch, though acceleration in 6th would be at a snail’s pace.
With the Rekluse you only use the clutch to shift up or down. It comes in very handy in stop and go bumper to bumper traffic or at a parade pace. Just leave it in 2nd or 3rd gear and your left hand with thank you.
