OOPS, I think by the time I am ready for a trike, maybe I should not be riding one on the road. LOL

How about a HD "Screamin Eagle" brand reverse kit?
"Build it, and they will come......"

How about a Screamin' Hemoroid kit to keep things in check while attempting to upright a tip over?

I only use ours a few times a year mostly when traveling with our our Bushtec trailer. My dealer installed it and has done several without any issues. I did not care for the looks of the N & R on the **** so I cut of the top of it and epoxied something that looks more fitting for the bike.

My reasons for adding a reverse gear our just like others , 900lb bike riding two up with a trailer, not having to think about where to park at anytime, Gravel parking lots and a bad back. That being said this is our 3rd bike with a reverse and I think once you have it and know how and when to use it you won't want to be without one.

What was the ball park cost on 2017? I am adding a Classic twin sidecar to a 2017 RGU and this maybe worth while.

I go t the reverse gear for around $1295 (dealer cost ) and I paid I think 2 or 3 hours labor . I got everything done cheaper as we had some coupons for discounted parts and used one or two for 1 free hour of labor so when all was done I think I paid around $1295 or so for it all.

Thanks not bad. I have never needed reverse on the smaller bikes with a sidecar. Putting the Classic twin on a RGU maybe a whole new game.

We will check back with him after 49 years plus of riding. Over 23 years beating body in the infantry, another 20 years working. Still wanting to ride two up with the women that has been with you 43 years.
We all talk some trash until time creeps up on us.

How many times, when we are traveling with our wives, do we get our bike out, park it and then pull out our wife's Street Glide. Gravel, slight dip, torn up parking lots.

I ignore all the big bad *** men who say your a ***** if you support this idea. They are just the haters and don't know any better. I know, I was one who used to think that way, until my riding buddy got run over by a tandem dump truck.

I am only a big bad *** on the keyboard. 60 years old soon, with a 1/2 ton bike, get by ok without reverse. However, it would be nice to see HD incorporate it in their big bikes, at least as an option to buy.
