How about a 13" shock with one inch of sag and you have the same seat height of low shock but 3" travel and a great ride. You have to have shock travel to have a good ride.

The standard length on a FL is 13". The low and certain other models like the street glide use the 12's. Anything longer than about 13 1/4" your probably going to hit the axle "C"-clip on the muffler. The spacer blocks allow a longer travel shock to be used without any other modifications.

DJ told me on the phone today that they haven't updated their website, but now offer a front end spring package with different dampening rod. Anyone else hear that or have any experience with it yet?

When I was up there last June and purchase shocks they had the test front suspension on George’s bike. He said at that time it was not 100% that they were still fine tuning it. But told me to stay tuned that it would be out soon. I guess they have it finished?

I can tell you that riding next to him he would hit the front brake hard and there was little dive which was impressive. Saves the necks of your passengers. With their history and suspension background I can assume it will be AWESOME!

And roger thats what Im sayin...If folks are using 14s with a 1" lowering block on a bike that normally comes with 12s..should be able to use a 14 on a bike that normally comes with 13s...

Im gonna drop them a line...

Spoke with George at a function at McMahon's HD last weekend and he said the front end product was ready to go! I have to get up to his shop to get a set and have them installed when this weather clears up a bit.

I was about to ask that question. Wonder when the front suspension will be available.

I have a set of Pro Actions and a set of Howard’s 2-2a adjustables. I’ll be doing a back to back test later this spring on both of these compared to stock. I’ll also be using DJ’s advice on set up and dialing in the shocks as well as Howard’s on the Ohlins.

Just ordered the springs for my Ultra from Pro Action, and have starting settings. Need to get with Howard and have his advice on set up. FYI..I ride two up 90% of the time with me at 260 and wife at 180.
