Corbin Classic Solo
I am thinking about ordering a Corbin Classic Solo seat for my 2014 SGS and would like opinions on whether to get it made in leather or vinyl? I live in the Northeast and I do not ride in the rain that much but the bike does sit under the sun all day during the Summer months when I ride it to work. I am looking at a black/charcoal combination. Of course, leather sounds far better than plastic, especially when spending this kind of money but I am sure that there is a downside to this as well.
There are so many darn options on their website that it's mind-boggling. I've already changed my mind 10-times.

My last Corbin had leather seating & vinyl on the sides. I recently purchased the Classic Solo all in leather. At the price of this seat, I wanted it all in leather. A couple of points. I would get leather seating as a minimum. It is much cooler and more comfortable than vinyl in the heat. Also, leather requires some care. I treat mine with a good quality leather cream every couple of weeks I. The summer. If you take care of the leather it will last a very long time and look great! I had the last Corbin for 2 years. When I traded that bike, I sold the Corbin for almost what I paid for it. The buyer couldn’t believe what great condition it was in.

And as stated earlier it takes some maintenance with leather conditioning cream every once in a while.
