LA Chopper Twin Peaks - 12" to 10"
I've had the 12" Twin Peaks on my '15 SGS for almost 3 years now. The longest distance I've ridden is 500 miles. For some reason, I just can't seem to get completely comfortable. I think I'm going to install the 10" Twin Peaks and sell the 12". Not crazy about running the wires through the bars again but oh well, it really wasn't that bad if you're patient. I'll probably install heated grips while I'm running wires in the bars.
Anyone have 10" Twin Peaks? How do they feel compared to stock? I believe stock is a 7.5" rise.
Since Daytona Bike Week is two weeks away, I'll probably do it when I get back. If anyone is looking for 12" Twin Peaks in perfect condition, shoot me a PM. I'll probably ask $180.

I tried the 10in. twin peaks and honestly I ended up preferring the stock bars on a 14 Street Glide. The tens fell in perfect to block mirrors and for me the height was really good but they were too wide for me. I don't have a lot of arm length anyways I'm only about 5 5 tall. What I do miss is the more solid feel of the heavier bars.

I have 10" Twin Peaks on my 16 Ultra. Probably the best upgrade I did. I'm 6'3" and have tall torso/long arms. I found the stock bars way to low and close. I didn't have as much control at slow speeds but with the twin peaks, they are perfect for me.
i have 2 bad shoulders and get pain when my arms reach above shoulder, so i decided to go with 10" and not 12" . My arms are straight to grips with 10". Along with a seat that pushes me back, my arm length /height is perfect for me.
I will say, the twin peaks have little wrist angle and almost no adjustment forward or back. I can see some people with a tallboy type seat and slightly shorter arms, may be wanting more pull back.

Have you considered a different width bar with more pullback? Just went through the painstaking process of the right bar myself. Ended up with the Yaffe Monkey Bar 12” which is 36” wide with 9” pullback the LA Choppers have a 33.5” width with a 5.25” pullback. So narrow and straight with LA slightly wider and more pullback with Yaffe.
