New Tires
My 2014 Road King is on its third rear tire, an American Elite this time. At 25k miles this is hardly surprising.
What has surprised me each time I've bought a new rear is how much tread is left on the front. After 25k, it was still road legal. The only reason I replaced it was I was sure whatever Martian technology was used to create that durable a tire would likely cause halitosis in lab monkeys.
So, I've got American Elites front and rear now, and I dig them so far. I'm curious to see how they wear.

Cygnusx51 - that was my experience on my previous year model bikes. However since my 2011, the tire wear has been close enough to one another that I change them both.
Bike has 36,000 on it now - and since this is the new riding season, I will replace both front and rear - got 5 great trips planned this summer.
By the way, i think Dunlop is coming out with their sale on March 15th - should be a $35 per tire rebate. This is the Harley Dunlop - Dunlop manufacture sale started March 1st and that is $25 per tire.

I guess everyone’s riding style has something to do with how many miles a tire is going to last. I got 17000 miles out of my OE rear tire and just replaced with the Michelin. You’re right on the fronts. I put a new 21” wheel on the front and went with a Michelin there as well. The OE front had at least another 10K left on it...
