Hey HB I just received the Grab on grips in the mail and wanted to ask.
You mentioned you just dip them into soapy water before you install them and on the instructions they say to spray the inside of the grip with hairspray.
Is the soapy water way easier?
Thanks

Good question, I had to go out to the garage to look a my spare set. Yes, it does say hairspray, but I have installed three sets with just soapy water.

I have installed those grip covers with hairspray and they went on very easily. Have had them on for about a year and they hold up well. Even bought a second pair just Incase they disappear from the market place.

Post some pics when you are done. They will feel a little funky at first. Meaning the larger diameter of the grip. One of the best and probably cheapest mods on my bike.

Soapy water is all you need. I installed a set this weekend. Just soak, twist and push and they went right on my Ultra.

Will do. Plan on getting my bike out of storage at the HD dealer in the next week or so as soon as the weather here warms up a little. Only 23 this morning in the Chicago suburbs.
