I’d bet they are 3D printed. If On Facebook he’ll probably get a letter from HD’s legal dept at some point.

 

I know on my 96 nostalgia, you were supposed to turn the old emblems in to get new ones. I lost one when I totaled mine but the dealer took care of it. After so many years they are no longer Vin restricted however

There are many 3D printed emblems on eBay for $35. Any color you want, some are even two tone.

 

Some of the problems with those 3D prints are:

1) They are most likely printed with PLA, which will pretty much turn to dust after a while in the sun.
2) They look like crap (I wouldn't put one of those on my bike) - you can see the layer lines, etc.
3) They are flat and need to be melted to mold to the curves of the tank.

No one who would recognize where that emblem comes from, is mistaking a regular ‘glide for a CVO.

I really want one in chrome. That would be completely unique. But I don’t what it $600 bad...

 

I have a set. I put some paint remover on them and they are chrome underneath.

 

how many years is that? Got an 08 that I still need show proof of ownership. Some stuff on different years isnt protected...like the seats this year.
