WHIM Wiring Harness

Had a WHIM installed today. There is a Micro-USB connection with a cap on it on the wiring harness. It's coiled up under my side cover. The Instructions say to keep it capped, but don't say what it's for. Anyone know what that's for?

It’s to update your software. You will need to use a laptop though not a thumb drive. Also be careful. Mine came apart after one day and exposed the wires by the USB port. I noticed it by accident when I was showing it to someone.

Using your lap to to up date the software is easy Of course there has been no update to The WHIM software. I did reload the current software just to see how it would go. Simple really
