Pelican Case for Tail Box

Pelican Case for Tail Box
Anyone here done this? I have a tailbag currently, but thinking that the Pelican case I have would work very well and look better than my current tail bag.
It would go with the overall look I have on the bike and I think it would hold everything that I would need it too.
So... Anyone done this? Pros? Cons? Thoughts? Ideas?
Thanks in advance

I seen somebody mount an old guitar amp case for a tour pack. Whatever floats your boat!!!! For me I bought a luggage rack, bungee net and a waterproof duffel bag. Setup cost less than $200 and that’s good enuff for me. Not a fan of the monster tour packs to me they mess up the lines of the bikes. The thin 1’s look a little better but you can’t really put **** in em so why pay all that money??? Again to each their own......

I can definitely see the benefit of a hard case though. Much easier to get in and out of it than the duffle and it gives you the ability to throw tools and other misc things in there without the worry of it ripping through the side. A box with a seal can also keeps your stuff dry, same as a waterproof bag.
I called this my ghetto tour pack. Granted, it was filled with cold items but it was nice for the way home to just put random stuff in so my bags weren’t so full. (Set up this way for a camping trip)

I get it about the cost, but FFS, why by an HD if you want to look like the Beverly Hillbillies going down the road. Pelican cases are great for Adventure bikes.
If you do go Pelican, check out RTIC. They are now copying Pelican for half the cost like they did with Yeti. If you're going to go redneck, always go full redneck.
