Finally ordered my Stage II

It gives others a baseline to decide whether or not to go that direction, based on the rpm range of the curve and how someone rides. The numbers themselves may vary, bike ot bike, dyno to dyno, but the location of the curves are generally in the same spot. Viewing a few dyno charts of similar combos can really help know what you're spending the moeny to gain.

UPDATE:
I've been out of town for work A LOT, so I just her dropped off this morning. Fortunately, they're not too backed up this week, so I could potentially have my girl back before Sunday.
I'm anxious to see how the 585 performs, but my feeling is that even if it isn't a CR 570-2, it will kick the stage 1's ***, and I will be pleased. The REAL test will be when whipping it to keep up with the M8's I ride with.... Not racing, mind you, not even "winning" as it were... just keeping up with the pack on a hard go.

UPDATE: The cams were getting installed, but for some reason wouldn't seat fully into the new SE cam plate. Rather than force anything, they're re-ordered the 585's, which should come in today. I'd be very curious is Scott @Hillsidecycle.com had any insight into why the cams don't fit properly, if he has any.

So, the SECOND time they shipped the 585 (the first one didn't fit the cam plate), they shipped a 255.
My dealership - who offered me 10% off the first time they made a mistake, offered me another 10 with this one AND offered a loaner. The 585 arrives tomorrow (reportedly).
20% covers a lot of errors and shipping.
