Default Cfr ?

Has this company gotten their $hit together with the torque issue ? Nothing sounds like them but I'm not willing to give up performance for sound. Bassani Is comparable to sound but also suffers from the same torque Issue.

I don’t know. But I think my Rinehart slimline duals sounds better than the CFRS my buddy has on his RGS. I will say the Bassani line (maybe road rage?) almost wooed me, but Fit and finish of the Rineharts combined with the sound won me. Sound is such a subjective issue. Good luck buddy.

Nothing sounds like CFRs. I don't race my bike, so I don't need to max out torque. I have plenty of go and the best sounding bike in the group.

I’m more concerned with chrome peeling than any loss in torque. Best sounding exhaust imo.

I had CFR mufflers on my 09 ultra and loved the sound but definitely noticed the loss of low end torque which isn’t a good thing on a heavy touring bike when you ride two up 90% of the time like I do. I ended up doing a 96 to 103 with a SE255 cam which did address the problem (and then some).

When I bought my 2018 FLHTK, I went with the Fullsac MX headpipe and VH high output 4.5 mufflers. No loss of torque and while not that CFR hot rod sound I loved, they’re a good compromise.

Anyone know of a video or sound clip of CFR on an M8? Just wondering how different they might sound on the new engine vs the TC.

Love my CFRs. To be honest these bikes are slow as **** and losing a little but of torque really isnt going to make a difference.
