A few things...
1. The improvement on my 14 was substantial. But it was a Street Glide 70% solo, 30% two up
2. I’m not sure the money is worth it for most people on upgrading a 17 and up, the changes front and rear is that much better on stock bikes from the 14/15’s
3. It’ll be next month (July) before I buy the super shox..so look for a update in August
4. While adjusting the Pro Actions is much easier then the Ohlins, I found out today in the heat and being tired (98 degrees) a pin tool would of been nice to have to adjust the PA. Sweaty palms and being grumpy made it hard to get another turn EITHER way with bare hands. maybe the Super Shox will be truly “tool-less adjustments”

lyork,
Super easy, even in the rain. The pain is removing each bag. The actual adjustment will be a couple of seconds depending on how many turns you need. An 1/8th of a turn will take a fraction of a second, with or without gloves.
The first time I adjusted the shocks and going by the chart for my weight, not the written directions under the chart, I went half of a full number on the scale labeled on the shock (thinking i needed a larger course adjustment). I was wrong and it was way to soft. Next rest stop, off with the bags again and went back to original number, then adjusted 1/4th of a turn. You definitely notice 1/4th of a turn and I could not believe it did not need more. Maybe because I have the 14" Super Shox, not sure.

so far it’s been a toss up on the two aftermarket shocks in comfort (Ohlins versus Pro Action) both are very, very good shocks with the edge to Pro Action on our “heavy” weight package (460lbs plus tourpak and misc stuff)

We noticed an amazing difference on the 2016 from air to Pro-Action. Yes the HD coils on the 2017 are an improvement but still a big different and well worth the investment to upgrade in my opinion.
I have never played with the adjustment on either bike from the settings they arrived at. When solo they are slightly stiffer but I actually like it that way.
All smiles.

Super Shox supplied 2" lowering blocks since I was replacing 12" HD premium stock shock which were standard on the Limited Low. No difference for my feet between the two shocks when I am sitting the bike. On the jiffy stand, the left muffler is slightly higher than when the 12" stock shocks were on.
