Air Foil/Wing light

Air Foil/Wing light
Hows it going folks? got a quick question (I hope) for the masses. I am wanting to add the light to the tour pack luggage rack. I have read that the light is really not worth the hassle but none the less it is a light on the back, which can be all that bad.
I have a 18 Street Glide Special. Now the question is: How is this wired to allow the brake light to work?
I know the rack comes with a wire and a "harness", I saw this on the data sheet. But how is ran and plugs into what, to make that little light work? I would guess there is a spot in the Pack to allow the wire to run out of it, but read here that there is no hole for the wire to exit (must have to drill one) then I'm guessing the wire runs down the two up rack and under the seat and plugs into............?
is it required to do some splicing or is that what the plug/adaptor is for..?
thanks for any help

How/where did you run the wire out of the pack as to be "neat" looking? since I don't see a place to run the wire out, I'm currently assuming that I will have to drill a hole "someplace" to get it out.
thanks for the help
