Just in case you haven't heard the latest on the Rushmore coolant pump topic here's a service bulletin (below) you need to read. It appears the new replacement pump for the 2014-2016 twin cooled Rushmore is very similar to the 2017 and newer twin cooled M8s (no thermostat). I haven't heard any issues regarding the coolant system on the 2017 and newer M8s. Anyone?

Now if they will just issue a "Product reliability campaign" to replace all the old style pumps like they did with the voltage regulators in 2012.

has anyone had the "old" pump replaced with the "new ' pump/kit under warranty yet?
or are dealers still replacing with the old pump?

 

Did anyone else notice the date on the installation instructions? It's dated 4/10/18. They must have been waiting to release the replacement until they sold out of the old pump that has been marked obsolete since last spring. I bet if your pump fails and you take it to a dealer that still has the old pump in stock they will use it unless you ask for the new kit.

 

This keeps showing as deleted. Anybody have a copy they could share?

I just had my cooling system replaced, dealer said thermostat was cracked and pump was not working. They replaced with the new pump under extended warranty. 2015 Limited with 59k
