For what it's worth, this is my experience with CII's, OEM Dunlop and American Elites - all on 2010+ touring bikes:
OEM Dunlop: Good tire, good handling, lasts a long time, cupping gets bad as mileage increases. Expensive.
Commander II: Good handling tire, lasts a long time, not great or confidence-inspiring in rain or on tar snakes. Better price than OEM.
American Elite: Best of the three IMO, good handling, feels solid in rain and tar snakes, lasts a long time, and cupping not as bad as OEM with higher miles. Better price than OEM.
