Default Fifty Thousand Miles A+ for the MOCO

2014 Street Glide Special hit 50,000 miles yesterday just outside Breckenridge, Colorado. Longest single day ride during the 50k was Phoenix, AZ to Denver, CO, 944 miles (8:00 am to 10:45 pm). Bike still has the same wheel bearings, front and rear, same compensator, same primary chain tensioner, same lifters, etc. ahh, but has a new battery and tires. I guess the MOCO does use quality parts after all.

58,000 miles on my 16RGU and my compensator had to be changed along with the tranny mainshaft bearing. Roll of the die.
Oh, forgot to add, the front wheel bearing went out at about 20K miles.

It because you bought the black one....they put the best parts in them......If it had been any other color it would have had 3 water pumps and 4 sets of bearings. A compensator and at least two primary chain tensioners.

16 Ultra Classic...lost my front bearings at about 8K and my rear at about 16K. The rear took out the ABS sensor and brake rotor. Both under 2 years so covered by warranty. At 25K now and they are replacing the neck bearing today. Over 2 years but the ESP is covering it. You gotta wonder if using cheap bearings is really saving them money.

I checked out a new ALL BLACK RGS the other day it was really nice looking, but I just can't get up my TC! Still goes up to 6,200 RPM with ease, rides smooth, well for OEM shocks that is.

Just turned 44,000 on my 2015 Limited, one water pump, new boom box, new lifters, and new heel/toe shift linkage. All covered by warranty or ESP.

Good to hear. I'm glad to see that good news gets posted here as well as the complaints. LOL. Have another 50,000 good safe miles.
