I do not disagree with it being wrong to be looking at a phone - but to Not use that app because you do not want to support the app- why not get rid of your phone that cost your big $$$ - Now thats supporting a product that people get distracted by using.. just pointing out a fact,,,, if you want to really not support distracted driving,

On the media tab on the Boom you need to select your phone. Then you should be able to hear the Waze app. However, you will not be able to use the USB selection on the Media tab or listen to the radio. It all has to be bluetoothed. I listen to Google play music, the Waze app, and my radar detector all bluetoothed through my android phone.

I use Waze every day with work and when traveling on the bike. Waze kept me out of harm once on the bike. There was a lot of debris on the roadway ahead that someone had reported. I was already, increased my distance behind the traffic I was following and avoided it easily. Could have been nasty.
I bluetooth it to the boom boom on the bike and listen to it through the speakers. Works GREAT.
