+1 on the helmet. Over the years I've seen way too many lost souls that might have had a better chance of surviving, if they would have had been wearing a helmet. Very happy to see you're on the mend.

That means the frame got bent, probably close to the crash bar. The front forks looked bent but not super obvious and the wheel, front fairing in and out and the gasket between them was messed. The left saddle bag, left footboard and the mounts. Handlebars, clutch lever, grip etc. that list goes on some more but the big one is the frame.

,Geico said they would replace the frame as long as the damage was u see 80% of the nada value. It’s a 2017 CVO so that’s pretty high. I’m hopeful they will fix it but if not I’ll get something new.
If you have good relationship with your dealer you should let him have the bike and whatever Geico offers you and get yourself 2019 bike of your choice.

[QUOTE=nj08SEUltra;17748597]Two things. First, look into pursuing an uninsured motorist claim. If your policy has a UM endorsement, it can compensate you in situations like this. /QUOTE]

Uninsured claims can ONLY kick in IF the other person can be found and IF They have NO insurance.. Kinda like a hit and run... UM does NO good if the other person can not be found.. They may or may not have insurance.. The Claim fall back to YOUR comp / collision.

Mary 9th 2017 my wife was riding her road glide special on I 75. An 18 wheeler had passed her and pulled back in, in front of her a safe distance. About a mile later, the main drive shaft fell out of the truck. My wife could not sweve left as there was another truck passing her. She had her cruise set at 73 mph. She had no choice but to square up and hit that drive shaft. She was on the brakes the moment she saw it, but left off the brakes right before impact, like she should do. She slid about 75 to 100 feet down the interstate after being pitched from the bike. She came to rest in the right lane, and her bike was next to her in the left lane.

She suffered a broken left collar bone, 3 broken ribs on the left side, and a broken left wrist. She sprained her right ankle. She was released from the hospital 8 hours after she was admitted. Her bike was a total loss. She wanted to see pictures of her bike. After I showed her pictures, she said, so no one was going to ride that out. My reply was no, when the front wheel can not make a complete revolution you can't ride it out. She then said, I better have a new Road Glide the day the DR releases me.

Front rim, huge chunk missing, would not roll all the way around

Rear rim, big dent
