I used dino oil during the break in and the first 1500 miles after installing my 107 kit.
I've read that synthetic oil isn't recommended during break in as it can effect ring seal.

I noticed that you still have the tw222 cams, with your 107” kit. What compression ratio are you now running, and what did you do to your heads? What are your results? I’m very interested in hearing your honest review, as these cams are only rated for stock compression. I too have them, but mine is in an otherwise stock 103”

No, I picked it up on Saturday due to my work schedule so it was the easier solution to just purchase the tuner and with the kit download. I will email Jamie this week to see where the disconnect is. According to Harley this kit with the tuner is ready to go and no dyno necessary. So off we go. Which this is really how it should be, there should be a library of tunes for multiple combinations. Since the kit is factory and the only thing really different is my S&S slip on's I am good. The tech told me any slip ons it doesn't really matter. Maybe in the future but if its running good and the gas mileage is good then I'm going to go with it.

What kinda of numbers are you getting out of that? I know Hillside puts together some pretty awesome combos.

Just to be clear, you’re saying you got a $1850 kit and 7 book hours labor for under $2000 from a dealer? How’d that happen? Is your brother the GM?

I'm running the same kit, great upgrade. your going to get more valve train noise, ditch the SE non adjustable push rods and get some get some adjustables and rock outs will help along with Dino. I'm still looking at swapping for better lifters, the MX SE's are junk ! After break in all good and you will enjoy the new grunt. The 585's run out up on top but they pull pretty decent on the low end, especially two up. I put down 95 and 113 on the Dyno with full exhaust.

It was a special, buy the kit and get the labor for free. It was advertised that oil, some gaskets and such were extras. I got a $1200 credit added as a deposit. (they booked it at 12 hours at 100 an hour)

This did not included additional items that were not included in the kit. Sprocket retention kit, cam spacer kit, cam bearings, model specific head gaskets, primary gasket and fluids. With gaskets, bearings, 5 quarts of oil and a filter it came out to 2036 before taxes and shop fees.

I asked them to replace the cam chain tensioners, got a battery and purchased the SE street tuner. 2750 otd.

I think it was a great deal.

That’s not a great deal, that’s an incredible deal. How come I never find them.... congrats!
