Default big bore kit 92500039

This is the BBK from 103 to 110 with pistons. Has anyone installed this, and left the stock cam? Any reason to swap out the stock cam? (aside from the fact that your in there and you can ) There is also the 92500035 which is the BBK with the SE585 cams, which gets pretty good reviews. Let me know what your experiences are and such. I already have a Andrews 57h cam which I may put back in. I took it out of an older bike but its gone. Thanks!

57 would be a good cam I believe,I would check and see what compression the 110 kit is and find out what the cam wants.
call one of the venders on here like Scott at hillside, or fuelmoto or any of the others and get them to work the heads and it will rip with the Andrew 57 cams.

Spec-wise, I don't see a whole lot of difference between your 2 choices, other than a higher lift on the SE585...you already have the 57. You wouldn't see enough difference to spend the extra coin...

The 585's are basically a copy of the 57 cam so your good on that, I mean there may be a minute difference but pretty much the same. I would however have the heads done, have Zippers or Wards do the heads and you want regret it.

I think the 92500039 may have a slightly lower compression ratio, that can probably work
good with a Rushmore style cam combination in the engine. Your 57 cam would like a bit
higher compression.

So I was able to get the big bore kit 92500035 for less than 2k installed, so I went for it. Thats 585 cams, lifters, bearings, pushrods, big bore cylinders, valve springs and gaskets. Any one install that kit?

I had 110 kit with SE 585 cams done and picked it up on Saturday. I have stock header, S&S SPO's, SEAC and I had a power vision. The map I got from FM was was a dud. I tried the CVO 110 map from the Power Vision website and the bike still ran like ****. Wouldn't take any throttle nor run for any length of time. So I got the SEST for 299. I can say the bike runs great! I got about 200 miles on it and have been breaking it in easy. So when we get to about 500 miles we will know. I like it so far. The motor is a little more noisier than stock ( Amsoil 20w-50) but not bad. Starts easy and runs smooth. I wish I would of done it from the day I bought it. I like the power. More to come...

Thanks for the update. Did you try calling FM for a more suitable map before buying another turner? Are you getting it dyno'ed?
