That's my theory on the Road King and it works fines. Don't know how that would work/look on the SG.......

I've tried it open and closed and don't see much difference at all other than when it's open it allows more stuff through the vent to hit me in the face and gets bugs splattered on the inside of the windshield as well as the outside, lol.

And considering that it's still early in the morning, why don't you take this time to go pour yourself a big old cup of "***** Off". It amazes me how you ask a constructive question and get some MORON that thinks he is a Comedian by saying something stupid.

I have fairing side air wings, lower fairings, air dam between lower legs, fairing vent open and the only thing that eliminates my mustache from tickling my nose is a full face helmet.

(Hair band stolen from the wife). But I was really hoping the fairing on my new to me 14 SGS would have blocked the wind a bit more so my beard isn't pushed up from the bottom and beating my nose and cheeks up so bad. The beard band works when I ride the SGS too, but I'm wondering if any of you bearded fellers out there have tried these HD adjustable air deflectors https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...air-deflectors on your fairing and do they really work. Reviews on the HD site are mixed. What about the mix of these AND the fork fangs? Or fork fangs only? Thoughts and experiences?
Those will not help with beard slap. I know I have them on my Ultra Limited. My beard beats the **** out of my face. The air that is coming up from the front or sides of the gas tank is the problem.

Thank for the feedback! Kinda what I was afraid of, which is why I haven't just run out and bought these. But if I had my choice about what beats the **** out of my face, it would involve your avatar, lol!!!!

I just installed the GADS air deflectors on my Ultra Limited, but with 8" of snow on the ground, testing will have to wait.

I just put my chin strap over my beard; no deflectors required.
