When you look at the price of some Indians ..Harleys don’t really look that bad..I bought a new a Super Glide in 1976 $ 3600
plus $100 if I wanted mirrors..and every bike on the road would out run it..so 43 yrs later maybe it’s not that bad..back then not many guys even owned a bike of any kind..I still marvel how far they’ve come...Most of us started out on old 1000cc Sportsters..

One of the reason the dealer you mentioned may have been having a difficult time moving the SGS in pearl white denim, personal preference aside, is the fact they "sticker" their bikes above MSRP. This isn't the late 80s-90s when dealers were successfully selling bikes above MSRP and customers were sometimes waiting months/a year for a bike. There isn't a SGS listed on the Harley website as high as $32,999 unless that includes tax, title and fees(?). I would have a very difficult time taking a dealer that stickers their bikes above MSRP seriously. You've got to ask yourself the question....."What is their pricing on service and other items like?"

That asking price is serioulsy jacked up over MSRP. The SGS for 2019 with color paint is MSRP $27,589. That said, if you walked out the door with the bike for 27,480 you did good, as you paid under MSRP for the bike.
SGS MSRP
