I called Arlen Ness and spoke to Chris there. What you said concerned me, as I was always under the impression that anodizing was the best process for preventing corrosion. I was told that, of course, by Chris, but he also said they use a hard anodizing process. Supposed to be thicker and more abrasion resistant. Hopefully it will hold up better than your past observations. I also hope, he wasn’t just blowing smoke up my ***. I don’t really have any real experience with Ness products, other than my new purchases, so I don’t doubt what you say. In your experience, have you seen a lot of Ness products turn purple over time? The only black products I’ve seen turn purple, was the end caps of Rineharts. I’d appreciate your honest feedback, as far as which products, age of said products, and the best way to prevent the fading. Thanks

Good! They’re an American company, building parts made in the U.S.A. What’s wrong with that? Besides, I bet you’ve spent way more than I did, on your Yaffe bars and PM wheels. Not saying that’s a bad thing, but, those in glass houses....
