Softbrake vs Kuryakyn - brake pedals.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between these two extended brake pedals?

Im looking to replace the stock pedal on my 2015 CVO Road Glide so I will need a pedal they works with lowers.

Thanks for any help or advice.

Don’t know about the physical difference between the two company’s product; however, I do have the Softbrake pedal and they are a great company to deal with. You can call'em and they will work with you to find the exact pedal for you and your bike. Nice people, give them a call before you buy.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it because it is a little difficult to pick out the correct pedal since they have so many options. Plus they don’t sell on EBay. Kuryakyn pedals are.

Does your bike have lowers?

I have the Kury on my '16 FLHTK with lowers works great. Much easier to cover the brake pedal. The Kury was a PIA though. It has a grease fitting- bushing and it took me forever to put the cotter pin back in. After loosing several in the bike frame, and an full hour screwing with it, - success! I didn't want to follow the instructions and remove all they said to.

Thanks for the reply. I heard it was a bugger to get to the cotter key. I’m prepared. Now is a good time for me to do it since I already have my floorboard and exhaust off for Winter projects.

I have the Kury. They make two. One for Lowers and one for without. I have a 15 limited low and works great. I have never had a problem with Kuryakyn products.

I installed the Soft brake pedal, +1 W with the dyna pad, and the cotter pin was super easy to pull out and re-intstall.

I have the Kury pedal on my 17 RGU. Love it. Same installation challenges, but we got her done.
