Default Drag Specialties PREDATOR III SEAT

Anyone running the Drag Specialties Predator III Seat on their touring bike? Looking for a step up seat for my RGS and liking the looks of this one and the price. I cannot find many reviews on it hence the new thread. If you have one can you post a pic? Does it lower you or sit you further back? I like the Saddlemen and Lucky Dave's step up seats but this one is more in line with my budget.

A few years ago I had the drag specialties predator seat (not 3) and it looked great on the RGU, but it was a harder seat. Not uncomfortable, just firmer than say a stock RG/SG custom seat.

I have one on my Road King. I’d say it drops you down a little but not back. Really close to the stock riding position but with better back support.

Sweet bike! The fairing looks awesome! How's the comfort level on the seat?

Thanks! The seat is comfy. I haven't done any long days in it yet, just a couple quick 300 mile turns and Its broken in nice. I don't have a long distance passenger, so can't really say on the size/comfort of the passenger pad, but it does ok for around town with someone on the back.

Not too worried about passenger comfort as my long days I ride solo. When the wife is on it's local only. Is it narrower than stock seat so it doesn't feel like the seat is spreading your legs apart?

Yup, it’s narrower at the front so your hips aren’t splayed apart, but the bucket is big enough to settle into. It’s a great seat, and the price makes it even better. It’s as good as my C&C seat that I had custom fit for me on my Dyna. And I had twice the money into it.

Awesome! Just ordered the red diamond stitch one! I can't beat the price of this seat! I was looking at Saddlemen and Lucky Daves but those were over $500.
