Corbin Fire And Ice Dual Touring

I did about 1000 miles this weekend, from DFW to Brandon MS and back, my *** was completely done around mile 600, completely! I thought the CVO seats were supposed to be very good seats?
Are the Corbins better than stock CVO or is it my *** that can’t take the ride?

Good question. Every Corbin Seat I've ever sat on felt like a brick, but I never rode one. I have a buddy with one on a Goldwing and he bad mouths it all of the time. I'm really wondering how they feel on a long haul.

From what I read, the ones that work best are when you ride in to the Hollister plant and get Corbin to custom make one for YOUR butt. I’m too far away for that option.

I had Corbin on prior bike, liked it, but wife thought it was too hard. Got sundowner on next bike, good with me and wife liked it better. On new bike got low profile seat, which I think is similar to CVO seat. Wife didn’t like it.
Got hammock seat, which she loves. If I got a CVO, would move the big hammock seat onto it, just for her. It sits higher than low profile. Absorbs a lot of bumps. Even with Ohlin 159 shocks. Shocks seem to take big bumps and hammock takes small bumps, great combo.

I hated the CVO seat. I'm a fan of the corbin and get the back rest also.

Easy on and easy off.
Cool in summer, warm in winter and COMFORTABLE. Hard to beat Mother Nature.
