I have a Corbin dual tour on my 14 Ultra. I started with the stock seat and made it 2 hours to the next dealer and told parts guy that i didn't care what he had but the POS stock seat was coming off. It was July 14 and the bike was exactly 1 day old. All they had at the time was a Hammock. We finished the season on that seat. Over the winter I sold the stock seat, bought the used Corbin of a member here. I have had custom bikes, I have customized bikes and I can honestly say that along with changing the bars, I will never ride another new bike without a Corbin. Their service is terrible if you call, the prices are ridiculous and when you first sit on it, you think it's the worst thing ever. I can say from the last 30,000+ miles i have rode with it on that it is the best seat ever. It will form to you and your passenger, the leather holds up well and i am a believer.

Exactly, I had the stock seat, then the Hammock, now the Corbin.

I totally agree with all the statements about Corbin but the seat is a good ride , I went through the worst customer service when I bought mine

I have four bikes, and all four have Corbin seats. Half were were bought used. I will not ride on anything else.

My 15 yo ST1300 has a 14 yo heated Corbin.

My '17 RGS has a "Fire and Ice" Dual Tour, I bought used, as new, on the Roadglide.org forum for a little more than half price.. BTW, there is one on there right now for $550 plus shipping. Beware the shipping charge, It cost the guy who sold me mine $125.00!

The seat itself is great, with the heat, it is wonderful. I have not had a chance to evaluate the cooling function in hot weather, yet. However, my laser thermometer says it is about 15-20 degrees cooler than a non cooled leather seat, under the same conditions.
The only downside I have found is the thing weighs 17 lbs! Like sitting on a baby refrigerator. plus new, it will eat up $1,000.00 in a hurry.

In the summer I use the sheepskin on my corbin so I have the best of both worlds.

My first corbin was the heated version. My wife then found the F ire and Ice model. Both great seats. The only down side on the Fand I is when my cooling fans are running the voltage drops to around 8volts at idle. At around 2,000 rpm all is well. It isn't like an a/c blowing on you *** but makes some difference. As mentioned above you really feel a difference when you shut the cooling off. Also purchased the matching tour pack back rest. Looks good and wife and I are both good for long distance touring.

Corbin just announced the Fire and ice when I purchased my last seat. Since the fire and ice was so new, I ended up going with the standard dual tour. My next one will be the fire and ice.
This is my 7th corbin and all have been fantastic. One had the stitching rip after almost a year, sent it back and the seat they returned to me was like new.... Perfect!
