No, you need the CB to communicate, You can get the module relatively cheap on here or Ebay.

Modules are $275 plus the rest of the stuff, unless the older CB's are compatible.
I need 76000486A for 2014 and newer and the old ones that cost a lot less are part # 76236-06C for 2013 and older

If you get a handheld make sure it is a 40 channel CB I bought handhelds and thought they were cb but they are some other channels so make sure it is CB.

Is there a hand held mike that is compatible with '14 and newer Ultra Limiteds. The only one that appears on the Harley site is for bikes '13 and older.

OK, so after much googling....CB radio Module for 2014-2019
CB Module, no bracket is #76000188... I can find used units for @ $175 with NO BRACKET
CB Module with Bracket is #76000486a.... I can find for $272 new

You still need the Push to Talk Hand Controls and antennae.

IF you have or want to use with a wired helmet with mic etc, then you need the $70 wired plug/connector

Can’t for the life of me..I can’t see what the need to converse with people including the wife while your riding..it’s a distraction from keeping your mind on the road..why can’t you tell your buddies the next stop is in xx miles for gas or **** stop before you take off..what about the guys who don’t wear helmets what do they do? I’m from the old school..get on and ride

1. on a 2014 up, the CB info can be heard through the radio, so no helmet required
2. so, you dont have to talk with anybody if you prefer not to.
3. My son and I use the Sena headset, and when we ride or are in a group ride, you can warn people of road issues i.e. obstructions, bike issues etc.
4. When my son and I road from Indianapolis to the Blue Ridge Parkway and to the Tail, it was cool to tell him,,, or him tell me ,,,to stop so we could look at something.
5. it’s a distraction from keeping your mind on the road...... for some... maybe

Portable CB Options
Midland 75-822 Portable/Mobile CB Radio, under $100 from Amazon.com
Sena SR10: Bluetooth Two-Way Radio Adapter
Sena SC-A0115: 2-Way Radio Cable For Midland Twin-Pin Connector

One of my friends uses the above system.

Trust me. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, DON'T get a CB and enjoy the ride.

I have served in every HOG Chapter position there is and have lead a couple of hundred rides. The CB will drive you crazy. Everyone wants to talk and talk over each other. Just when you are at that point in your favorite song "Breaker 19". It greatly reduces your riding enjoyment. Everything important can be done with hand signals and you can all talk with you stop for food and fuel.

I'll see you in DC.

Yeaaaahhhhhh I am thinking that I will do it, if I can get all the parts for under $200, otherwise, I can find several ways to spend $300+ dollars

I installed the WHIM and love it (today's technology) and I installed the SIRIUS XM as well, so I'm good to go, if I bought the CB setup I would only use it around certain riders that I dont ride with that often so......... I'm going to forgo the CB unless I find a used package for $200 or less.

Thanks everyone!
